Sludge Safety Project is a coalition of West Virginia communities and organizations working for clean water and community safety near toxic coal waste storage sites.

Who is This Manual For?

This resource is for West Virginians whose water and health might be impacted by coal waste disposal—either in impoundments or by underground injection. If you want to make your community a healthier place to live, then this information can help you get started.
